WMAAC is a small dance and athletic studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I was hired as a contracter by a small design firm to help create a custom Wordpress theme based on pre-existing wireframes. The site features several integrated plugins, as well as some custom plugin work.
Walk That Dog is a dog walking group in Philadelphia, PA. They needed a site that was fun, flexible and easy to populate with lots of interactive content, allowed group members to RSVP to walks online, and allowed administrators to easily create and manage walks. This custom Wordpress theme includes multiple templates for events, blog posts, content pages and resources, plugins (including custom plugins) that allow for simple, easy management of flexible content and the integration of outside sites like Twitter, Facebook and Google.
Miss Rachel's is a vegan catering company and dining spot in Philadelphia, PA. They needed a new website that was easy to navigate, flexible, easy to maintain, and matched their classic 50s style. The new site features a complete redesign and is built on a Drupal 7 platform at the client's request, allowing the client to manage content quickly and easily.
Speciesism: The Movie is an independent documentary film by first-time filmmaker, Mark Devries. I worked closely with Mark to translate his very specific design ideas into a simple but effective marketing tools for sharing information about screenings, interviews, behind the scenes footage and more. The site is an expanding project that will grow as the movie's presense grows.
Bork Architecture is a small firm in Athens, Georgia. I was hired by a design studio to port their design to a Wordpress template with three seperate templates for different parts of the site. The client needed to be able to easily add new projects and update site content. The project included creating scrolling photo galleries linked to each project post and a mini-blog.
Urban Outfitters is a multi-national brand with a unique style who needed a flexible, ever expanding site to meet their customer's needs for a great shopping experience. I worked on creating a new search and faceted navigation system using a third-party tool to facilitate finding exact products, helped implement a redesigned shopping cart, coded LSTN and blog features, helped change the look and feel of the main site as required, handled email templates, and maintained the UO Sweeps mini-site. I also built a custom internal social networking site for employees at Urban Outfitters stores world wide and handled social networking API plugins for Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and more.
Impulsion is an educational online simulation where players create, show and breed horses and dogs. The blends easy, automated functions with an old-fashioned social network to create an online community of friends who share their knowledge about animals with each other. The platform is built on PHP5 and allows players to create, breed, show and maintain their "animals" with just a few clicks of a button while a large forum allows them to interact socially.
A fully automated online horse simulation which offered players a chance to buy, breed, sell, train and show simulated horses while earning in-game currency, building their dream barns, and creating a prestiguous name as a breeder, trainer, or rider. Built on a PHP5 platform, the game featured a complex genetics engine based on real-life equine genetics, and a training engine geared to simulate realitic skill gain. The site was designed to facilitate a simple, fun user experience.

Temple Cats is a volunteer-run "trap, neuter, release" non-profit effort located on the campus of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. The group feeds and provides necessary medical care to feral cats in the area, and provides foster care and adopters for tame stray cats. I did their logo and branding.
